If you can be part of the cure for breast cancer, will you help?

4 Good Reasons to Say YES!

1.  In 2008, 40,480 American women died from breast cancer.

2. In 2008, doctors diagnosed 184,450 new cases of breast cancer.

3.  In 2009, 192,370 more American women were diagnosed with breast cancer.

4.  According to The World Health Organization, every minute, a woman dies of breast cancer.

Purebred dogs are an amazing resource of genetic material for researchers looking for the keys to cure terrible diseases found in both dogs and humans.  Some of the suspicious genes associated with both canine and human diseases have already been identified.

Thousands of purebred dogs have already donated their DNA through a cheek swab or through a teaspoon of blood (Researchers deem a blood sample more accurate).

Breeders and owners of dogs diagnosed with tumors have also sent samples of tumor tissue to researchers.

Now it's our turn, and we desperately need your help to fund this research.

Two genes associated with breast cancer (BRNA1) and (BRNA2) have been identified in both English Springer Spaniels and in humans.
